Janet Ledger
Chief Executive Officer
Janet Ledger, our CEO, is responsible for the overall success of Community Business and for leading the development and execution of long-term strategies with the aim of making CB a sustainable not-for-profit organisation that has a significant positive impact across Asia.
Prior to joining Community Business Janet built a successful career as a senior leader most recently with Telstra International in Hong Kong, covering a broad range of disciplines and functions including strategic business planning and performance, programme management and delivery, corporate governance, change management, organisational effectiveness and talent development. She also has experience in the Travel, Tourism, Training and Hospitality sectors. Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Janet and her husband call Hong Kong home.
Janet believes organisation is only as strong as its people. She has helped teams get where they want to be by working with people, opening channels of communication, developing and retaining the right talent and ensuring an inclusive environment where creativity and collaboration can thrive.
With over 35 years work experience Janet is continuing her learning by undergoing study towards a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences through Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an alumni of The Women's Foundation Mentoring Program.

Sandhya Manoj
Executive Director, New Business Initiatives & Growth
Ms. Sandhya Manoj is Executive Director, New Business Initiatives & Growth in Community Business, with a mission to lead, inspire and support organisations and individuals to bring about positive impact and social change. In this role, Sandhya will reinforce Community Business’s position as a leader in responsible and inclusive business practices and differentiate our offering, particularly in the areas of diversity and inclusion and employee wellbeing.
Prior to Community Business, Sandhya worked as CEO of Foundation For Excellence India Trust, an NGO and was responsible for all aspects of the Trust’s operations in India, in addition to providing support to FFE-USA in certain areas. Her role was to guide overall strategy, finance, people development, new initiatives, and donor management.
With experience of more than 30 years, Sandhya has worked both in large corporations, not for profit (NGO) and start-ups in the areas of sales, operations, HR, training and general management. She has built processes, worked with diverse teams, created organisation structures, work flow processes across departments besides creating a remote mentoring platform. In her earlier stint as founder of Teamworx Consulting, she was involved in hiring of senior talent and mentoring them. She has also worked as a consultant HR head to a VC firm, where she was involved with APD (Association of People with Disability), creating training modules leading to employment. She was also a highly successful sales manager for Monster.com in the earlier stages of her career.
Sandhya is a certified trainer and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certified by the International Coach Federation. She is passionate about people development and has mentored or coached a number of youngsters. As a trained advanced facilitator, she has also been involved in building teams, especially with focus on customer orientation, bringing value to client organisations.

Dimuthu de Silva
Director of DE&I
Dimuthu de Silva is the Director of DE&I at Community Business, having previously held the role of Head of Consulting & Training, where he was responsible for consulting, training design and delivery, client relationship management and the daily operations of the C&T team.
Prior to joining Community Business, Dimuthu was a consultant in Learning & Development and HR, with over 12 years in banking, financial technology, KPO and BPO, hotels & tourism and education industries. He has experience in end-to-end learning design and delivery, HR systems delivery, general consultancy and policy development around people, culture and organisational development. He is also an active researcher in social inclusion, representation and participation of marginalised communities and speaks at conferences and forums frequently. Dimuthu was born and raised in Sri Lanka and completed his higher education in Malaysia. He has worked in Sri Lanka and the South Asian and APAC region on assignments. He has been passionate about diversity and inclusion from a young age, as well as early career years at HSBC, with Employee Resource groups and D&I initiatives.
Dimuthu has an MBA in International Business from Anglia Ruskin University, MSc in International Development Management from University of Nottingham and also, a certified TESOL/TEFL trainer. He is also an accredited DiSC trainer from Wiley and Sons, USA. He is a member of and a Senior Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM – SCP), USA and also an Associate Member of Association of Human Resource Professionals (AHRP), Sri Lanka. Dimuthu is fluent in English and Sinhala.
Social Impact
Emily Moss
Head of Social Impact
Emily is Head of Social Impact at Community Business. She is responsible for driving and developing strategy around community impact: how the organisation is perceived in and engaging with current thought leadership and market trends in CSR, DE&I and Employee Wellbeing. Emily oversees the Marketing & Communications, Research and Events teams at Community Business.
Emily began her career in London at a boutique international development consultancy that partners with global NGOs and government agencies to establish development strategies, and monitor projects across the world. Prior to joining Community Business, Emily worked at a global advertising agency in both Shanghai and HK, managing international banking and entertainment accounts. She has also worked at an NGO in Hong Kong, focusing on donor development and major fundraising initiatives.
A graduate of Bristol University and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, Emily holds a Master of Science in Violence, Conflict & Development. She is native in English.
Operations
Johnny Chan
Senior Operations Manager
Johnny is the Senior Operations Manager, based in Hong Kong. He is mainly responsible for the operations of Community Business including people and talent, technology, systems and processes, and office administration.
Prior to this role, he was the Programme Manager of DIAN, and was responsible for event, project and member management as well as communications of the DIAN network. He also worked for Community Business as an intern when he was a university student, providing support to administration and other teams.
A graduate of Lingnan University in Hong Kong, Johnny holds a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary English Studies. He is native in Cantonese, and fluent in English and Mandarin.

Moneesha Shrivastav
Senior Operations Manager, India
Moneesha is the Senior Operations Manager, India at Community Business. She is responsible for developing and executing the strategy, programmes and projects in India.
Moneesha is a technical graduate with an MBA from Symbiosis and Psychology and a Certified D&I and a POSH trainer. She brings 14 years of diverse experience in project management, strategic planning, business development, operations and relationship management with B2B, B2C, state and central Government and Academia in India. As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lead, Moneesha has worked closely on the defining regional DEI messaging, best practices and ensure alignment with corporates. She has experience partnering with employer brand marketing to amplify the DEI strategy and initiatives, promote DEI thought leadership and ran campaigns to attract diverse talent.
She has also conceptualised and worked on strategic planning for successful implementation and adoption technology specific learning development program at university level through launch of the FDP programs across state level.

Salma Nasrullah
Senior Programme Manager, India
Salma is a Senior Programme Manager from Bangalore, India. She is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the Community Business - India Best Practice Conference and India Awards.
Salma has a total of 9 years of experience as an Advertising and International Strategic Events professional. Her profile included Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Branding. Always in a client facing role, she understands client requirements and how it can be translated it into trainings and events. She has also had a stint as an Entrepreneur and co-founded a Trainings and Conference company that catered to Latin-America and Middle East.
Salma has done her MBA in Media and Communication from the Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
DIAN
Saranta Gattie
Senior Programme Manager, DIAN
Saranta is the Senior Programme Manager for DIAN. She is responsible for driving the development and execution of DIAN across the region.
Prior to Community Business, Saranta was working with founders and leaders committed to building authentic work cultures and workplaces that empower their teams. Her experience brings together a unique blend of workplace strategy, learning & programme design and leadership coaching.
Passionate about the future of work, Saranta launched The Working Capitol, a co-working space in Singapore to re-imagine the way work, wellbeing and inclusion can co-exist. She was also the Head of Learning for a private network of female leaders, spearheading the programme design & delivery and member experience across events, workshops & networking opportunities, to advance the role of women in leadership. Saranta is a strong believer in the power of community to drive transformation and create impact and is a champion of diversity & inclusion practices in and out of the workplace.
Saranta was born in Belgium and raised in Singapore. A graduate from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts, International Studies & French, she worked in the US and Southeast Asia representing global brands in her early career before exploring the world of entrepreneurship. Saranta is a coach-in training, supporting especially female founders and working mothers. She is fluent in English and French, conversational in Italian and learning Indonesian.

Scot Jones
Senior Programme Manager, LGBT+
Scot is a Senior Programme Manager, LGBT+, based in Hong Kong. Scot previously held the position of Programme Manager, LGBT+ and has returned in the role of Senior Programme Manager, LGBT+ , where he is responsible for developing and driving the strategy for the portfolio of LGBT+ programmes, client relationship management and business development for the team. In his free time, Scot is an active volunteer with varied organisations in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Community Business, Scot worked as Diversity & Inclusion Advisor and volunteered for two NGO’s in Hong Kong focused on social justice and gender equality.
Prior to relocating to Hong Kong in 2015, Scot had over 20 years as an entrepreneur and HR Generalist in the US and Canada. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Psychology and is native in English. He uses He/Him/His pronouns.

Amit Parab
Programme Manager, India
Amit is a Programme Manager at Community Business, India. He is responsible for the design, delivery, project management and client engagement for our Consulting and Training solutions.
Prior to Community Business, Amit has worked for more than 16 years with various CBOs, NGOs and Startup. He has contributed to initiatives supported by renowned donors, foundations and organisations. His major areas include community led programmes, health and human rights for vulnerable and at most risk population in India. He has participated in relief efforts for floods and cyclones in various parts of India. While working with startup has led teleconsultation initiatives for Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission. He has expertise in community involvement, capacity building, and technical assistance.
Amit has earned a degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai. He is fluent in speaking English, Hindi, and few Indian languages.

Bhavya Gupta
Programme Manager, India
Bhavya is the Programme Manager at Community Business India. She is responsible for supporting the programmes, campaigns and research projects in India.
Prior to Community Business, Bhavya worked as Social Impact Manager in a volunteer-based organisation called U&I. She designed and implemented various short-term volunteering programs in multiple sectors like environment, education, disability etc. Bhavya has finished her post-graduation in Social Work, specialising in Disability Studies and Action from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai.
She is fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali. She uses She/Her pronouns.
DIAN
Bijita Thapa
Programme Manager, DIAN
Bijita is a Programme Manager for the DIAN team based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for maintaining the member database and providing support for DIAN events and campaigns.
Before joining community business, Bijita was a marketing coordinator for an NGO focused on empowering marginalised women and youth through an intersectional feminist lens. She has also interned for Prudential to conduct market research on ethnic minorities and for an SME in the holistic wellness industry. One of her passion projects is to publish a bilingual children book to raise awareness on social issues, promote bilingualism, and increase Nepalese representation in children literature.
Bijita holds a bachelors degree in Business Management and Liberal Arts. She is fluent in English, Nepali and Hindi while being intermediate in Cantonese and Mandarin. She uses she/her/her pronouns.
